EC 141/2026 in SKLA — dated weekly hours in Validate

How SKLA embeds Brazil’s EC 141/2026 in the schedule flow — a concrete example of product-level compliance.

SKLA exists so planning, coverage, compliance, and the tower stay one flow — wherever the operation runs. Local rules are not a side spreadsheet: they enter Validate before publish.

In Brazil, a recent milestone is Constitutional Amendment 141/2026 (from PEC 221/2019): weekly caps and weekly rest change by date. This article shows how the product already handles it — not legal advice.

Why it matters for the product

Healthcare, services, and transport teams must publish against the law that applies to that schedule week. SKLA resolves the cap by date and blocks or warns in Validate — the same pattern used for other legal profiles (drivers, collective agreements, holidays).

Calendar (Brazil, operational view)

  • From 17 Dec 2026: transitional 42 h/week and 2 rest days/week.
  • From 17 Dec 2027: 40 h/week.
  • Until 16 Dec 2026: classic 44 h pre-amendment baseline.

What SKLA does

On BR_CLT_DEFAULT:

  • dated weekly cap (44 → 42 → 40; prefer 40 h in transition when daily ≤ 8 h);
  • ≥2 days without work per week after 17 Dec 2026;
  • monthly rest compensation only with a collective-agreement flag;
  • collective caps cannot raise the constitutional limit; Validate may signal supersede;
  • diploma + high-pay exemption only with an explicit flag (default off).

What SKLA does not do

It does not replace legal counsel. It does not invent special regimes without statute. 12×36 stays in the pattern catalog without auto-exempting weekly/rest rules until infraconstitutional law arrives.
